Who Are The Users ?
Daily Commuters
Vacation Travelers
Business Commuters
Ticket booking Vendors
Railway Authority
New TC in town
What Are Their Problems ?
In an unfamiliar location, like a railway station, it can be difficult for a new visitor to locate the ticket counter, restrooms, platform route, and other amenities.
Keeping track of so many receipts, such as the ticket, platform ticket, and so on, is difficult.
The tourist finds it hard to keep track of everything, from ticket purchases to train schedules to estimated arrival and departure times.
While looking for the services the traveller may get confused and lost in a large railway station.
How Can We Solve These Problems ?
Get all data and important information at the user's fingertips.
Allows the user to freely navigate and locate locations on the railway station without getting lost or confused.
The railway authority will be able to collect data more easily through a database rather than manually.
Will raise the level of maintenance at a railway station in order to provide a better overall experience to users.
Keep all data, such as ticket details, safe in the app, without fear of it being lost, as is common with offline tickets.
Will make it easier for interstate or cross-country travelers to understand and manage instructions and details.

User Story
As a Interstate traveler, I want to be able to understand the instructions in the local language and navigate my way properly through the journey so that I do not get lost at a unknown station and cannot make my way back within the time of departure.
As a New traveler I want to locate nearby stalls and information desks at a new railway station so that if I need anything while travelling or want to get any travel related info I can get it easily even at an unknown place.
As a New Railway Authority I want to get familiar with the new surrounding of the railway station I am newly posted to so that I can guide coming passengers properly to their way.
As a shy person I want to navigate my way through a new place without interacting much so that I can continue my journey safely.
Solutions Derived
To save users time, provide an online ticket booking and management feature.
Provide train schedules and current information on all trains and railway stations.
Make the app available in a variety of languages.
Include a scanner in the app that can scan signs and instructions at the railway station and translate them into multiple languages.
The app should be able to provide notifications regarding the arrival and departure of the train in which the user is travelling, such as a ping when the train arrives at a new station and a ping 5 -10 minutes before the train is about to leave that station and so on.
The app should include all relevant information about a specific train, such as images, customer reviews, and features such as AC/Non-AC, etc.
The app should be able to suggest travel recommendations such as type of train to take and type of ticket to purchase based on the specifications entered by the user.
The app should be able to navigate the user through all of the areas of a railway station that the user is in, such as restrooms, food stalls, ticket desks, other information offices, train schedule list boards, and so on.
The navigation should also include live tracking and GPS.
The app should also provide a live map of the train the user is travelling in and track the user's live location, making it easier for the user to locate their seat without having to roam through the train to get to the right place ( Imagine the scenario of gmaps, but for a trains).
The app should include a document folder in which all of the user's documents, such as aadhar cards, pan cards, and tickets, can be stored.
Once the user enters the train station, the app should be able to guide the user through every corner of the station, such as once the app is turned on at the station's entrance, the app should guide the user to the platform and birth number of his/her train, and vice versa when leaving the train station and arriving at the destination.
